P&C Double Down

Anyone in the double down monthly deal with P&C? Got my 1st delivery yesterday. Got 2 tins of Sutliff Kasimir, and 2 tins of East India Trading Troost, an 2 well needless to say very poorly made china made cobs, an I do mean poorly 1 is split down the side. Just wondering if they give really good baccy out too! Not saying these aren't I just never herd of these. Oh an a 4 ounce bag of Russ's blend McClelland No 5110 dark English.

As I recall, P&C is quitting the cheapie cob pipes once the supply is gone. Probably they need to do it sooner. Many of the old pipe shops used to sell well made house pipes at around cost just to bring in new pipe smokers. It's not a wise marketing move to stick new pipe smokers with junky pipes. It is much less likely to bring them back. The old pipe shop gang knew what they were doing. I don't know those blends, but Sutliff does good blends; I think the blends will be fine. Try some of P&C's Chestnut blend, an amazing non-aromatic; try it in the pouch, and then if you like it, buy a tub.
