I'm sure this has been asked, but damn if I can find it. I understand repairs to black stems.

What about Brown? Currently its the only other stem color I have to deal with. There may be more in the future.

Is there a pigment that can be used to color CA glue? Has anyone had to match the color on a brown stem?

I have one more question, figured I'd save time and a second post.

I have a Jobey with a military type stem and a horn(?) shank extension. Upon arrival I inspected it and the extension came off with the stem. I got them seperated easy enough. No tar glueing them together.

After cleaning, What's is best adhesive to repair a horn shank extension? Should the mortice/tenon be sanded/filed to rough it up to increase bond strength?

Thanks for all the advice thus far and in the future. Keep puffin.

Thanks. I've been to their website. Saw a brown glue but wasn't sure if it was the correct color. Also found out that most pipes have black stems and my brown was oxidation. It didn't look like it.
