If you are interested in Orlik, I suggest you try and find a pre-cadogan model, preferably a Corona, supreme or old bond street - though that said I have found their deluxes and seconds line Royal sovereign to be fantastic burners too. If you are patient they can be had on eBay or elsewhere for relatively cheap.

So, basically after reading linked article the conclusion is that this pipe is a crap :)

On the other hand, she' s calling me in some mysterious way. I'll see how the situation develops. For now, the equivalent of $6, 10 interested people and almost a week to go.

I have a Royal Sovereign Oom Paul sandblast, its one of my best smoking pipes. The one I have has the London markings. I paid $5 for it at a flea market, I love the pipe.

Orlik are great pipes, up there with the best, they were made in Oxford Street London as I remember, one of my first pipes was a Orlik and I still have it in my collection, they are great Quality, will have to get mine out for a airing.
