Got this in the mail today. Never opened but it's a box and tobacco is of course super dry. I bought for display. 1940's

also a 1940's never opened square tin of Edgewood. And another super old tin of Edgewood. So far, I got two tins that would be Close to a 100 years old.

I guess I could try and rehydrate the 7 Seas, but it would be a waste of my time. Basicly taste like old crud to me, it's beyond aged, it's ancient.(Though it did not crumble) The square tin of Edgewood, who knows. Only the 7 Seas box and the Edgewood square tin have tobacco and are never opened. The other two are empty. All are just for display, I'm not into smoking really old tobacco. Shame your not close by, I'd dump the whole contents of the 7 Seas in your mason jar for ya. :))

Just hold old is that tobacco? Edgeworth tins seem to be in every antique mall I have ever been to, but I have never found an unopened one.

Thanks uncle, Your the reason I thought to bid on the 7 Seas :)) Their were several different brands up for sale from a WWII collector/dealer. I chose the 7 Seas and the Edgeworth. Edgeworth are a common old tin, but finding one still sealed is'nt so easy.
