Well i hope to fiish up my 7 day set of large English bent bulldogs in this year. I have an order in for two more Northern Briars. One wilk be a Regal finish in walnut stain with cumberland stem and silver. The second is a Regal in a red finish, silver, and black stem. They will be a group 5 like my current NB pipe. Then I have an order with Mr Wood through James Barber Tobacconists on three Ferndowns. All 3* bent bulldogs. All will have the basket weave silver band and tapered stems. One bark with cumberland stem, one reo ith black stem, and one root with cumberland stem. Not sure when they will be available though. Then i have an order in with Mr Craig for an LX bent bulldog with tapered stem. It will be a dark stain with eitger a dark blue, dark green, or reg cumberland stem. Depends on what stock he has when he makes the pipe. I am pretty excited about this. This will be expensive, but cheaper than two brand new Dunhill smooth 5108's. I will update this thread as it developes. I know the Northern Briars will be done in late March, but not sure about the rest.

Sounds like you have a great plan well underway. I always thought the bulldog was such an underrated shape. Feels great in hand, and a well executed one has a very timeless look to it. Once my desire for seven Bruce Weavers and seven Ben Wades has been accomplished, plan on working on my dublin shape collection.

I guess it would be ideal to have 52 7 days sets. I dont think I can think of 52 different sets I would like though. After the bulldog I might do billiards or bent billiards. I would like an Elephants foot some day, but not sure what set it would go with lol. Nah I dont need 52 7 day sets.

I can't imagine being that intentional in obtaining my pipes, but I think it is a noble exercise. I think

these bulls need a rack of their own, to celebrate the distinct planning and effort that went into this.

My bulldogs and Rhodies are among my favorite pipes, my Christmas gift Sav bent Rhody 673KS from

my wife among them. What an elegant briar.

I agree about a rack of their own. Probably have to get it custome made as i am not sure who makes one with wide enough spaces.

I love the idea of a seven day set like this! I change my mind far too often to be so disciplined, but I wish this wasn't so.

It is taking patients to get there. I have to remind myself it is worth it and not fall into temptation on other pipes.

I can imagine!!! Anytime I've seen a 7 day set it always attracts my intention. If i had the means I'd most certainly commission a 7 day set. Ever seen the photo on Michael Parks website showing the 7 day set he made?
