Opinions on Black & Mild pipe tobacco cigars?

What do you guys think of these? Are they OK, pure crap, acceptable at a time when a pipe isn't convenient/appropriate? Tell me!
I smoke them occasionally when I have short breaks at work and I don't have the time to prepare and smoke a pipe...but I do prefer pipe smoke over this stuff.

The quality of tobacco used is EXTREMELY low. I'd rather not smoke than smoke these.

My mother smokes two packs of these a day. Pretty sure she inhales them. They certainly smell better than the nails she used to suck down. Don't know how good they are personally. I assume they're made with some version of Middleton's pipe tobacco. I don't think you'll get many positive remarks here. Just a guess 8)

I've smoked the Backwoods cigars and they're okay for what they are. For machine rolled cigars, flavored or otherwise, I lean more towards something by Villiger. I do enjoy Acid cigars from time to time and also like the CAO Brazilia cigars quite a bit.

I actually kinda dig 'em Dylan. Wood tips especially... real sweet. Good outdoor summer BBQ or poolside smoke IMO. I've actually wanted to try the Black&Mild pouch tobacco for pipes. Your mom's got good taste IMO!!

What wildcat says. IMHO though, I don't care for convenience store tobacco, course that may have something to do with me stopping smoking nails. Just my thoughts.

Wow... I have to say I'm kind of surprised that someone's mom smokes two packs of black & milds all day, and inhales. So much for stereotypes...

I smoke the wood tips one every once in awhile, their not bad. but for cigars I prefer Hammer & Sickles

Personally I would take backwoods over them any day of the week, wood tips are ok, but if I want a cheap smoke, Ill load a cob, If I cant do that Ill grab a cigar, If I cant do that, a backwoods is ok if I can get my hands on them, if not them, I probably wont smoke

I tasted that stuff, but actually I wasn't impressed...I think it is better to smoke a quality cigar or if you don't like cigars at all and don't have enough time to smoke a pipe, just don't smoke...that is just only my thoughts

I would rather not smoke than smoke crap just to smoke.
You can get some fairly decent tins of small cigars if you want a quick smoke. Or else get a small cob. ::
