I really want a Dunhill and have been looking at this one. All I know about Dunhill's is what I have read here from you guys.
Here is the pipe. It is on Dave Neeb's site and I have purchased from Dave before. He is an awesome guy and his customer service is 150%.

Wondering what you think. So far my best smokers are my Savinelli's, Nordings and my Cobs. When I say best smoke IMHO I mean a nice, open draw.

All comments welcome.

When I go to the page I can't see any pics for the pipe or a price - maybe you already pulled the trigger which is quite undertandable

Dunhill pipes are overpriced, overrated, mass produced garbage.... And oh my god I LOVE their garbage. Enjoy it!!! I have a few along with the artesians that are so often mentioned as a "better use of your money". I think they're awesome. You'll love it or not, but you should bite the bullet. I'll be buried with my 5128 Black Briar in one hand.

Spartan,

I just clicked the link and it worked fine.

But yes, I just pulled the trigger.

Looks nice, 9.9/10 and reading the description, it's all there. Group 3 and 39 grams, not too much not to like.

The pipe looks fine. If you like it, go for it. If you're looking to save a few $ on a Dunhill and you aren't wedded to that pipe you might want to see what's available at alpascia in Italy. N.A. customers get a break on the currency and they have many Dunhill's for less than what you would pay for an estate from a US vendor. Neat pipes also has a boatload of dunhills available for less.

Nice looking Dunhill.. I suspect the usual suspects will be along with their usual Dunhill rant and how a cob smokes better. Ignore them and enjoy your new pipe.

While the Bruyere finish is not a Dunhill finish I care for a group 3 pipe at 39 grams is a killer size in my book, I own a dozen from group 1-4 with 2&3 being the bulk, they all smoke great, enjoy yours for many, many fond memories and great smokes.

Thank you all. Foggy, I don't know if you meant to post a picture in your last post or not but thanks for the comment.

I bought it.

Congrats! Now you will be able to speak with authority on Dunhills, or at least one. Sounds like a good flake pipe, being a little smaller. Hope this is the beginning of a beautiful friendship.

McClelland 202 is a fine smoke although I enjoy 2025 a bit more.I guess everyone should probably own a Dunhill pipe at some point in their pipe smoking lifetime. I have owned several, none of which I own anymore. Before, I wondered too, I don't wonder now. What one likes is such a personal matter, it can't be rationalized by others IMHO. I'm sure your new pipe will bring much pleasure.
