I thought i had my 7 day set settled, that is untill i spent several hours chatting with Chris Askwith. Now i have to refigure my 7 day set of British large bent bulldogs/rhodesians. Here is what he talked me into lol."Ok so just to be clear, Morta bent bulldog in the 5108 style, blue cumberland stem.". It will be done in a couple of weeks. It will be the only one in the set with out a silver band.here is what i need to decide rom.
Northern Briars premiere group 5 with tapered cumberland stem and silver band. Al ready have it.
Askwith morta with blue cumberland stem. Ordered
Northern Briars regal red stain and black tapered stem with silver band. Ordered will be finished in march
Northern Briars regal walnut stain with cumberland tapered stem and silver. Ordered finished in March
Ferndown 3* bark bent bulldog with tapered cumberkand stem and basket weave band. Ordered but not sure the date.
Ferndown 3* reo bent bulldog with tapered black stem and basket weave band. Ordered but not sure when will be done.
Ferndown 3* root or tudor root with tapered cumberland stem and basket weave band m not sure as Les said hard to get the briar m could be soon or a long time.
And I was talking to Mr Craig about an Ashton. Dark stain sandblasted with silver band and either green or reg brindle stem. Originally was going to be done in feb, but not set in stone and probably have to move it back till april.
I can always push the Northern Briars back till after the chicago show, but have to do so before he starts. I was not expecting the Askwith pipe so soon and no clue when Ferndowns will be ready.
So which should i include in the 7 day set? Should i buy all them or drop one?

Sounds like there's plenty of time, and there could easily be delays. I'd go with them all unless there's a financial pinch.

By the time they are all in, you won't have to buy any pipes for a long time while you break them all in. I covet the Ferndowns!

I buy a couple pipes and catch heat here. Hardly seems fair. Buy them all! You can't take money with you! Enjoy!!

He is on facebook, but for the pipes i am going through James Barber and they are forwarding the emails. I am talking directly with Mr craig, Mr Walker, and Mr Askwith about pipes.
