Was sitting in my man cave and after 1 to many Woodford rocks, I spotted a bottle of Captain Morgans Spiced Rum that had been gifted to me a couple of years ago. At the time I was smoking some CD's Jamaican Rum I really didn't care for'

As I said I had had one too many Woodfords and this got me to contemplating, I took a little light Virginia a little red Virginia a pinch of perique and threw in a little dark fired Kentucky. Put the rum in a spray bottle and while tossing the tobacco spritzed it pretty good with the rum, then let it sit until most of the rum evaporated before jarring it up.

That was a couple of weeks ago, this morning I have a smoke that CD's blenders need to try.

I have no idea if this is the way you're supposed to infuse tobacco or not, but it worked pretty good this time.

I did the same to Peretti BPC, but used a mix of dark rum and molasses. I soaked it pretty good and let it dry out a bit on a sheet pan. It worked pretty well

I recently flavored some plain VA ribbon with a liqueur I made; bourbon with a bit vanilla extract and white sugar. It turned out to be a fantastic smoke. Plain liquor would add a more subtle flavor. Putting hard booze on tobacco works great!
