Olive wood finishes really well. I suspect it deepens in color in a good way too. That's a beautiful set, a gift set you might say.

I've wanted to try an olive wood pipe for years. That one looks very nice, and the matching pen makes it a very cool set.

Olive wood always looks so nice.
While on the subject, anyone with experience, how does olive transfer heat from the bowl? - similar to briar?

Till now i made over 200 olive pipes and i smoked a lot of them.I believe they are great smokers but i prefer to carve them with thicker walls than briar.

Yes with the time they get a darker colour too :)
