Since I haven't gotten into estate pipes, my oldest is my first pipe, what I like to call a one-owner estate pipe,
a Tinder Box St. Ives bent smooth pot with a saddle stem, from about 1978, maybe a year older. I think it
is a French pipe, perhaps a Chacom, made as a house pipe for Tinder Box. It still smokes perfectly, and
is still one of the most stylish pipes I own, which for a pot is saying a lot.
