I stopped at a few today. Not a fan of diner food. Must be my French pallette. Too much grease.
I concur. Guy Fieri probably has a list of intestinal parasites that would dwarf all our cellar spreadsheets combined.

Yeah he don't gain weight but he gets to taste some good and interesting food....he probably spits it out in garbage can that is near by,,,but the pioneer woman her stuff is garbage so is girl meets farm.I concur. Most of the places on DDDs aren't typical diners, with typical diner food.
They are mostly restaurants that use "better" ingredients, and everything is made in house. These aren't your typical diner slop chefs, they are at the top of their game.
Like Guy has said many times, he would put many of these cooks up against any Michelin star, or French chef.
After guy puts these places on DDD, they usually blow up. Several have opened more locations, and their lives have changed.
A lot of them end up on Guys Grocery Games to compete.
My wife and I have stopped a few times at a diner near Buffalo that has been on the show 2x. We found it several years before it was on DDD. Now, it's nearly impossible to get in and out quickly with their new fame.
Im not waiting an hour for ANY restaurant....period.

I went to 'White Palace Grill'
(it was in the show) on the south side of Chicago. Pretty bad. 'Manny's' a few blocks away is, to me, really good.

I enjoy the show and have eaten at several Lansing places that appeared on the show.
One place, Joe's Gizzard City, features a burger Guy created on the show. Known for deep fried everything, they had a deep fried, battered burger patty. Guy took it a step further and battered the entire burger, bun and toppings included.
