Ha, mostly I get my wife saying "you reek" but I am always smoking a main course rather than a dessert...
I did once return from a cigarette break to have a young lady gush over how I smelt like a 'Sunday morning hangover'.
My wife withstood the reek silently. My daughter? Not so much.
Mine has been: “Argh! Why do you smell pipey!?”
My daughter's assure me that it is fine, they love me just the way I am ha. My wife is not so diplomatic.

Don't misunderstand me. My daughter loves me unconditionally. She's just not a fan of the stale, acrid smoke aroma I'm usually wreathed in. Grandson is the same. I don't notice it but, I'm sure it is off putting to most.

I have found that as long as it doesn't have latakia my girlfriend loves the way the pipe smells. Latakia she always complains about. Everything else smells great. I still smoke it as much. I just have to put the pipe in the other room instead of the living room.
