Depending on how many vendors/collectors there are attending will make a difference. It looks to be a good show from what I hear and it seems like more folks from the different forums are spreading the word also which is a big help in attendance.
As far as pipes, you will probably be a bit overwhelmed at first. But spend as much time there as possible and view all the tables. It helps to have a wish list and plenty of $$$ because there's no shortage of items to tease you. Be it, books on pipes and tobacco, some nice old vintage tins, pipe racks, etc.
If this is your first show, I'd be willing to say it won't be your last.

As for the nearly naked women; bear in mind that this is in Newark and a stone's throw from a prison.
My advice is to decide how much you are willing to spend. Get this amount in cash and leave the credit cards at home. Then walk around the show and take a quick gander at what is available. Then make the purchases that you really want. Be sure to stock up on tobacco. Ask questions of the experts and meet friends from the PipeMag.

ps. My plan for the Chicago Show is to take about 60 tampers to the preshow. Then my budget is set by the amount I sell.

Weather is looking fine for tomorrow. Some of us join the NYC PC and Northern NJ gang at JR's in Whippany afterwards.
