Numbersix Took A Chance On A Bari

Some time back I had made a post about Bari Pipes and Numbersix commented on how he had also purchased a Bari and really liked it and said:

I never heard of Bari pipes before when I spied this unsmoked one on ebay for $50. I did some quick research and found everyone who had a Bari liked it, so I bit.
Just rec'd it today and I have to say I am super impressed. The briar is beautiful with some nice burl. Thick walls, perfectly drilled and after 2 smokes, it didn't get hot or gurgle. Count me as a happy camper.

I have to say I liked the design of the Bari pipe he purchased and just tonight I pulled the trigger on her twin sister! $46.44 with free shipping.

I hope you read the fine print on Judd's page. He uses a stock photo and says the pipe shown is NOT the pipe you will receive. Just hope you are aware of that.

Very nice Durham. I have one Bari myself and it is a good little smoker. Mine is a very small thin walled panel so you have to smoke it when you have plenty of time or it will get a little hot but overall I like it very much. Congrats and enjoy.

I just noticed that it says "Made in Italy" -- I didn't know that Bari had moved production there. The only Bari's I've ever had were Danish made and the quality was very high. I hope the newer Bari's are just as good. It certainly looks like a well-made pipe.

Thanks guys for the nice comments. I like the classic lines and I'm excited about receiving the pipe. I'm also happy to hear that some of you have Bari pipes too. This will make my third.
pitchfork, yes I seen that and I wish I knew who makes them. I've had no luck so far with researching.

I had overlooked these pipes in the past, but I regard your judgment so highly that I feel PAD is knocking at the door. Beautiful pipe, and I crave one for myself. Congrats.
