That last pipe was awhile ago and I've been making a pizza dough for later. This next MM Cob is colored yellow and has a paper label, I generally buy the wooden plugged ones but sometimes you don't have a choice.
The original stem was ill fitting and kept falling off and somewhere along the way I lost the metal ring as well. The stem is what I salvaged almost 11 years ago when the Diplomat I had that was 13 y/o got run over by a truck and I managed to salvage the stem. Keeping it smokey with more of that great Orlik Golden Sliced.
