Hello all. I've been a long time cigar smoke, and decided to add a pipe into the mix for some variety, I've always had my eyes on pipes even as a kid. I would sometimes go with my dad when he would by cigars and the owner was always smoking a pipe. I love the visual of a pipe. It just comes of sophisticated. And cigars or pipes, I love the smell of someone smoking fine tobacco.

I love cigars and cigarillos but a pipe blows a smoke so thick with delight that I can't even see them anymore.
A pipe is not only a tool to smoke tobacco with, it is also a tool to comfort yourself with.
There are ways of smoking a pipe that will calm you naturally, like the "bellows" method. Just the act itself.
It's like laying in a rocking cradle for grown men.
Besides that I found that a pipe will give you the very best tasting tobacco smoke.
I never smoked an expensive cigar but I smoked raw and cheap tobacco leaves in a pipe, the pipe has won!
Not just that flavor competition but also my heart.

Welcome from PA. I started with cigars and moved to pipes a few years ago. I still enjoy cigars here and there when I have friends over or have a good 1-2 hours to myself. But being able to set the pipe down and come back to it later without an issue, not to mention the variety of pipe tobacco, is so hard to beat.
