I am currently smoking a Nording free hand style bent pipe in a red wood grain. I have always loved this style and it is a very fine pipe for the price.

If you like the look of these I don't think anyone would be disappointed with how they smoke.

Highly reccomended.

I have a Nording signature I got online on the way. I couldn't pass up the black Friday price. They are works of art IMO

I've been eyeing Nordings for awhile. When I have the spare cash I'll probably shell out for one. Though I might have to get a Johs Churchwarden first. Decisions, decisions!

If you want a great deal on a Nording signature, Iwan Ries (iwanries.com) has one for a mere $44. These

run $80 and up at other sites. It's a simple billiard, but likely a fine smoking pipe. I doubt IR has more

than one of these.

I have one of the Nording Signature Freehands. I love that pipe. The pipe you see in my photo is a Nording Royal Flush Ace... I love that pipe too lol.

I've heard nothing but good things about Nording. Very high on my list of pipes to buy...
Not a fan of Freehand shapes, but he does a few very carved dublins, apples, that sort of thing. Very tasty!

I bought a Nording Freehand from Tinder Box and it never disappoints! Great price also!

I just picked up two Nordings a couple of weeks ago, a rather large freehand and a royal flush horn...I must say I was absolutely blown away at the quality of these pipes. The horn smokes wonderfully, haven't tried the freehand yet.

They are very beautiful pipes that appeal to the rustic-look that I enjoy in my purchases. I have had my eye on them for a long while. Very glad you are enjoying yours. Yet another positive review for Nording.

sjb3, did you get it(smooth horn) from SmokingPipes.com? If so I was eyeballing that pipe for a month, but could not pull the trigger as I didn't have the funds available. That is a beautiful pipe.

Nice buy.

I recently purchased a Royal Flush "Jack" . It is a very nice pipe and smokes very cool. So far I have only smoked FMC in it but I think it is going to be a good one. It is my first Nording. :puffpipe:

I love my free hand, it even features in my profile picture!! I bought it in Copenhagen at the Danish Pipe Store with some lovely Danish Aromatics. The two go together amazingly well. Try it with W.O. Larsen Signature and you won’t be disappointed.

IMO, Nordings are some of the best values in pipes available! I have two myself, though they are standard shapes ( I'm not big on freehands ), and they are excellent smokers! I have less than $150 total in them, which is a steal in my book!

Yes Vorhees it was! I had been in your same situation but then I got a rather large Christmas bonus a month early and spent it on a few pipes and accessories. I always wanted a Nording zebra horn but couldn't find it anywhere, so when I had the money I jumped on it.

I actually got it at P&C along with a GBD collector series pipe which is also proving to be a good one.

P&C has the nordings for good price. Depending on the grade, you can get one of this style for say $80-120.00

I agree with smeigs, the grain and contrast stain are very similar on Nordings and Neerups. I'm pretty sure Peder Jeppesen worked for Mr. Nording before going off on his own.

I love my Nording Signature Black, I have one that is a bent poker shape. They are some of the most ergonomic pipes. The large sizes and shapes of the bowls are deceiving because you would think it is going to be a clunky, heavy pipe and in reality it just moulds to the hand. They are a pleasure to smoke, as well as to look at.
