I haven't smoked any in that range, but both of my Nording pipes are excellent smokers! I don't think mine added up to $150 combined! IMO, Nordings are some of the best for the money. Hhmmm, I need to get me another Nording!

I have a Nording Signature and it is a very nice pipe. I've never heard anything negative about the brand. They have a good reputation, so go for it. I'm sure you'll be happy with it.

 Haha If i didn't break mine last night i would be able to comment on how well they smoke but unfortunately Ive yet to smoke it. But from what i have read and heard about Nording they are good quality pipes. But watch out for Canadians the Shanks tend to be fragile lol or at least in my gorilla hands they are.

I would contact the dealer and ask them to make sure the pipe is drilled correctly and that it passes a fluffy pipe cleaner with ease. The one Nording I owned was drilled like crap and it was a fairly expensive straight grain.

I love my Nordings. I saw this thread so I decided to put them together.

Hopefully this worked. There's a Boar, an Elk, a Pheasant, a signature,A sitter that I just call The Beast and I think a 1996 hunter, but I'm not sure of the name. Either way, they all smoke great. :)

I won a Nordig Hunter. I only have 3 pipes, and the Nordig is my most expensive. I am fairly new to pipe smoking, and I don't smoke often, maybe once or twice a week, however from my limited experience, I can tell you that the Hunter is a good pipe. It draws well and feel/looks good. I have troubles keeping the tobacco lit but that could just be me or the tobacco I'm using.

I've just missed out on a Nording from smokingpipes, gutted! They really look like lovely pipes, I must get hold of one next time one tickles my fancy...
