No Shank Brushes, My World is in Upheaval

Smokingpipes no longer carries them, PC out of stock, 4noggins out of stock. I was getting ready to place a large order for pipe cleaners and now I cannot add my shank brushes. This is completely unacceptable, how the hell can these not be in stock. Are people stocking up on shank brushes now, are we going to see them on ebay being sold for ten bucks a wack? I want to know who is responsible for this shortage, is it the mfg, is it the retailers not paying attention to the needs of their customers, I want answers.
I will not rest till I find my shank brushes, and I am personally going to see the people responsible pay for their lack of vision. I will make it my mission in life to make sure we are never without our shank brushes ever again. I am contacting all the major players and demand they remedy this insidious situation fort-with.

I got a pack of 4 different size brushes for airless paint guns at Harbor Freight Tools for $1.99
While not as long as a Shank brush it still works and only 2 bucks.

Now why does a smaller company like this have them no problem? I did have to pay a whopping 2.95 in shipping breaking my string of free shipping. I still will not rest till the big guys get their act together. I had to create an account, put all my credit card info in and now I am exhausted, I need a nap. lol

I've never heard of a shank brush... I've just used pipe cleaners. I also just got some bristled cleaners for the first time.

Harris, just a thought couldn't you get away with using rifle barrel cleaning brushes instead? Just a thought never used them myself, but a thought non the less.

You know I've seen these at work and I've been wondering about them. If I'm correct the bristles are nylon and I feel like they would be too hard on the shank. Hell, if I was really in a bind I could buy overpriced bristled pipe cleaners from work too.

Actually, I use the shank brushes combined with ever clear to do a thorough cleaning on the shanks and stems. They work much better at scrubbing out the gunk that a bristle brush just can't do

Pipe cleaners, or if necessary, a pipe cleaner doubled over, seem to do the job pretty well, but I admit,

I am tempted by the shank brushes now that I know they exist. I'm not sure I want one more pipe supply,

to store and misplace.
