Hm, so I finally went back to Dan Pipe 2000 tobacco after a stint with Rattray's Highland Targe and Peterson's Luxury blend. It's really pretty good. Well, the first half that I smoked was extremely creamy. Then I put it aside and smoked the second half today. Maybe it's because I split it over two days, but it didn't seem as great. But that's not the purpose of this post. Really, this is kind of a random blurb, but I remember the first time I tried this stuff and did a whole pipe, the nic kick hit me pretty bad. I thought this was because I just got into the smoking and wasn't used to Nicotine at all.
Nope, I guess this is my heaviest nicotine tobacco. I smoked the second half today and I'm already feeling a bit lightheaded. Not exactly the nic kick, but I know that if I smoked a whole bowl, it would set in and I'd have to take a nap...
Thank god for Highland Targe and Luxury blend, haha.
Also, pipe tobacco in China is quite a bit more expensive. Kind of ridiculous, actually. The 100g Highland Targe is marked at 185RMB, which equates to about... $30. Fortunately I got a 10% discount because of a card I have, but man... I can see that if I decide to stay in China and decided to cellar here, hoo mama, that'd be expensive.
