Nice old Reject

Sitting under my apple trees enjoying a bowl of Quiet Nights in a old little pipe. The only stamp on it is REJECT on the top of the shank. Someone rejected it in the 1960s or 1970s when I estimate my father acquired it. The defects are on the shank, visible on one of the photos. I don't suppose I'll ever identify the maker. Doesn't much matter to me because it's a fine smoker and has some nice wood patterns. Thought I'd share some pics.

Yeah, fills. But fills can be hidden. Looks like a Danish shape.

I love the birdseye on the bottom. I agree that it looks Danish but the shape isn't recognizable enough to hazard a guess at the maker.

Appears to be a Diplomat shape, no clue who's reject it my be however.

A Stanwell? Sounds good to me. I have a Sasieni with a very similar shape and size, so I was thinking maybe that.
