Let's hear if you have any New Year's resolutions pertaining to pipes and tobacco.
Ie.
"I want to acquire more tobacco this year"
"I have too many pipes and won't buy any this year"
"I want to try new blends"

You get the idea.

For me its wanting to slow down my cadence even more. When I first joined the forum I smoked ferociously. I loved smoking a pipe and would smoke as many bowls as possible during our daily happy hour. I just wanted to get as many bowls and blends down as possible. I've slowed down and enjoyed each blend over the past year or so. I'd like to hone my technique even more and enjoy each and every puff as much as I can. I've gleaned so much from all the members here that has aided me in my overall experience and am forever thankful.

I want to try and post in the WAYS threads a bit more. It's tough keeping up on that one but that's my goal.
I get that. If you are off for a day or two there could be 12 pages to sift through. I only post about a third of the pipes i smoke in the WAYS thread. To busy smoking to post and don't like to use my phone to do it, so I just wait until I'm back inside with my laptop to post anything.

There are no rules or standards for that thread. Jump in and post what you're smoking any time you feel like it.

1. Post in WAYS
2. Maybe start my first thread (other than my intro from years ago). Rule #9 is a tough one to master it seems.
3. Add my pipes to the “show us your” threads.
4. Break into my cellar stash of “oldies” more.
5. Go to a pipe show and meet some of you curmudgeons In person.

Lot of hard work, think I can pull it off.

Since I commited to one pipe this year I will only buy tobacco. I'm not opening anything from my cellar this year as I have plenty of jars of test blends and gifts from the fine people on this forum open to last me 2023. If I do have to open something it will be a test blend again. What my aim is to see if any of those test blends is cellar worthy and build a shallow and broad "cellar". I'm smoking about about kilo (or little over 2 pounds for you imperialists) of tobacco a year so even buying 5 kilos for the cellar in 2023 will last me a long time.

Pretty much this. Smoke slower and smoke better.
