Welcome aboard from central N.C. My dad's family used to have a summer farm in Holton, Mich., a ways east of Muskegon. I camped there once, and visited a few times, when the old house was still standing. It had a well, a hand pump, and no electricity. My dad and his sibs sold it to a Christmas tree farmer eventually. Why my grandma thought that was fun summer, I don't know; I think she felt she'd arrived too late to be a pioneer.
