New stem on Björn Thurmann freehand

Thought I'd share a cool experience with a great pipe maker. I took a shot and contacted Mr. Thurmann via email and said that I had a vintage pipe of his, which is my favorte smoker in my small collection but the stem was starting oxidation and asked if I could pay him to make a new one. He answered back that he was glad I liked my pipe so much and to just send it to him. I did. I received it back prof boxed and perfect! costs? bout 7 bucks. Awsome! He sure made me a happy pipe smoker. ::

It sure is. I'm not sure if I can link to his site, he sales his pipes himself.. A real pleasure to talk to and his pipes are amazing.
