Hey there. I wanted to give a big shout out to Wendell from these forums. He, after reading my cheer up post reached out to me, and after asking my preference, sent me a new poker.
It's from Nording, one of their compass line, which is actually a brand I've been looking at a lot recently.
To make it better, it's even got the Nordic Compass run on the base, which (while trying not to break the rules regarding religion) is perfect for me, as I'm ancestrally a Viking.
I've only had a single bowl so far, and it needs some breaking in, and I'm new to a metal stem, but so far I'm in love with it.
(apologizing now for the messy desk, I'm in the middle of post winter cleaning)

How's the metal stem? I've always been concerned that it might make the smoke hotter.

I've only had one bowl out of it so far, but I didn't notice much temp difference TBH. It's got a really small bowl too, which may be helping with that
