New Peterson..Help..

Got this Peterson as part of an insanely low priced lot. Buuut. Tried finding info on it..just tired of clicking. Can anyone help?

As of that shot, I'm gonna say that's not a Peterson. Shape isn't one I recognize as theirs, nor the texture. If in doubt, flip the pipe over and see what the stamps say.

Yeah, I was going by the stem. That 'P' is real close. Nothing on the bottom, which is usually a giveaway..Texture didn't look like anything they did. I thought, well, unless its rare..I appreciate the help though!!

That looks a lot like some of the meers made by Manx. Manx made the meers for Peterson.

Could be. They did have some oddball shapes with some of the African meers. You may be able to find a list of the shapes they made them in.

I'm thinking Manx meer as well, which would account for no stamping.

After a little digging, I think it could be a Pioneer. The stem looks like one of theirs, and they seem to have a few variations of the “P” logo.

You guys are awesome. Thanks a lot, gives me a lot to go on. That 'P' on the stem threw me off. I compared it and it's damn near exact. Just fatter. In the meantime, there's the collection, got a lot I'm working on too.

I was going to say Pioneer. I have two of their meers and the stem and logo look right.

Know nothing of Meers...cleaning the stem. Thats it. At least I know what I have though...awesome.

Yup, that logo is Pioneer. Have 1 myself.
