Hello from South Carolina. I've been smoking pipes since college, over 50 years ago. I'd quit when I could no longer acquire Dunhill tobacco since I could never find a suitable alternative. Read recently that Peterson's is now carrying at least some. Not as good as the original but better than others I've tried. Nice to return.
Am enjoying the forum.
Still can't decide to try a Dunhill pipe. Have a hard justifying the price. Maybe a Peterson? I've enjoyed my Savenelli's. Any recommendations?

Welcome from S.W Michigan. I never had the originals dunhills but the peterson versions i have tried seemed good to me. Peterson pipes are good pipes and i own a few. I dont have any savenelli's but people seem to have good things to say about them. Anyways welcome back

You can often find estate Dunhills at a reasonable price. Etsy.com is a good source as well as EBay and many of the forum sponsors. Peterson and Savinelli are good picks as well. I have a large collection of shape specific Savinellis that never let me down. Welcome aboard from Central Kentucky!

For my money, the sun set on the entire Dunhill empire** decades ago. Not to say they're bad, but lots of other great English blends available, made right here in the US.

So: Bulk- Balkan Supreme.
Tins: Smyrna, Bengal Slices, Balkan Sasieni, Red Raparee, Early Morning Pipe, Quiet Nights- that's a start!
