Hello, been a visitor for more than two years and have gained a lot from the knowledge and social exchanges on the site. I was a cigarette smoker in my youth, a while a go (quit when a pack reached the exorbitant price of $1 CAN). Always enjoyed an occasional cigar but never smoked the pipe until 2015. Many years ago I did smoke some pipe tobacco in RYO cigarettes and was always intrigued by the smell and ritual involved as some of the men I knew as I grew up enjoyed their pipes. As a weekly, fair weather pipe smoker, I still have a lot to learn about the practice but am enjoying the journey and decided it made sense to join the community a little more actively.
