I don't really have any need these days for a printed catalog. But I have to say that I really like the Iwan Ries catalog that arrived in the mail today. (I don't know who all is getting it, but I have ordered from them in the past.) It's exactly what I want a tobacconist's catalog to be: lots of pipes -- over 400 -- and no fluff. Yes, they also sell a lot of cigars, but those are entirely represented by a price list, no photos whatsoever.
Most other catalogs I get from tobacco retailers go straight into the recycling bin. For me, this one's a keeper, like those catalogs the Tinder Box used to produce in the 70s and 80s.
