new gustatory experience

Have any of you ever smoked a bowl of one blend, and followed it with another?
I don't believe I have ever done this until tonight. I have followed one bowl after another of the same blend before, but tonight I decided to do something different.

I had just finished a bowl of S.G. Perfection, when I filled the pipe up with Middelton's cherry blend and started on that. What a great experience! There was flavor comming from everywhere! My whole mouth was awash with flavor.

I don't know if the English tobaccos in Perfection stimulated my taste buds and set up this gustatory delight, but when I began smoking the cherry blend it was pretty amazing!
Just thought I would pass this on to you guys. Maybe you already knew this, but I didn't. Nice experience.

Hey Max,

I tend to smoke one blend of tobacco all day.

I seldom change blends during the course of a day, save when I have a bowl of a latakia blend early with my coffee.

That's interesting Max, I'll have to try it. There have been plenty of times I've started up a second bowl of tobacco, but never in the same pipe, back to back.
