New Grabow Ajustomatic & Patriot

For the Dr. Grabow fans. I received an email from the Grabow factory telling me of the new Ajustomatic and Patriot pipes. There is virtually no mention of these anywhere on the web, or on the forums. They only sell them factory direct to customers. (at least the Patriot) Does anyone have one of these pipes? If so, post some pictures and or reviews. The pictures in the email were fuzzy, but they look great from what I could make out. The Ajustomatic was finished in a charcoal gray with nice grain showing through. The Patriot was finished in a lovely dark brown stain and has brass fittings. I should just buy them already.

I bought two each of the Patriots and ajustomatics a few months back. The Patriots came with a sock. Since I smoke mostly straight pipes the two bents are dust collectors and sit in a rack with my other special series pipes from Grabow,the Freedom 1812, and the Special 11. Patriots on the right--Ajusto's on the left in this pic.

@ejames How do the new Adjustomatics compare to vintage ones? I noticed in a flyer I got about them, they say you can use with or with out a filter. I am assuming this means that they don't use stingers in them anymore.

The older pipes with the Ajustomatic feature were available both in filtered or stingered versions. The older Golden Dukes,Silver Dukes and Berwycks were all filtered Ajustomatics. All of the other lines with the Ajustomatic came with a removable stinger.
Stingers have not been used in Grabows for about 15-20 years. All Grabows made today( and the last 15-20 years) except for the new Ajustomatic, are push stem filter pipes,the new Ajustomatics are filter pipes.

If I remember correctly the "Regal" line was the last to have the Ajustomatic--until recently.
