New Dunhill Estate Pipe

This is my new "1979 DUNHILL BRUYERE 41241 SITTER PANELLED BILLIARD". I bought it from on EBay from bruyerepipes. The pictures looked good. However, the seller was stating that the pipe was barely smoked (10 times max) and was cleaned and ready to go. Yeah yeah. Just some selling fluff I thought.
Well, you know what. He was right!! If this pipe has been smoked, it was maybe 1-5 bowels. It looks almost new to me. I got it for less than half of what a new one would cost. I just bought another Dunhill from him which was "new in box". This one was also less than 1/2 the cost of a new one but more than the used one.
I know there many less than reputable sellers out there on EBay. But I thought this guy deserved some praise for delivering on what he advertised.
T did resize these on photobucket. However, sometimes computers do not act correctly...

That's the way to buy a Dunhill. New, they are just too much. It's a beautiful pipe, proportioned

and balanced. I fell in instant love with a Wade paneled billiard, one of my few impulse buys, but

it never quite satisfied -- draw a little too open, blast finish a little over sealed. But that Dunhill is

a panel I'd enjoy.

I think my first ebay buy was a Dunhill bent from that same seller. One of my favorite Dunhills.
Came in quite in good condition, just needed a drop of interior cleaning, if I recall correctly.

Love it! Just purchased a 1971 shell about a month ago, panel sandblasted black and I love it. This one you have looks very similar to the Parker panel pipe I have, and love as well.
