New Davidoff Pipe

Received my new Davidoff rustic eBay win pipe today. Happy with it but would like input as to what might be the problem. The pipe has white spots throughout the rustication. Could it perhaps be from stain which had not penetrated the briar? Will try a rub with olive oil and see how that goes. Stumped.

Maybe it's trying to be a Dunhill :lol: But in all seriousness my guess would be wax bits in the crevices from a botched polish. Hard to tell from the pictures though...

Thanks and I think you were right. I tried just water and a rag. That didn't work. Ran the Dremal tool with a buff pad and it shined up really nice.

Nice! An old tooth brush is good for getting wax out of those nooks and crannies.
