(disclaimer: I do not work for any of the sellers or manufacturers of below mentioned products.)

I'm one of those guys who are constantly building/modifying/inventing/hacking random objects, in doing so I keep a list of certain "can't live without" items. Last night while smoking some luxury bullseye flake and stocking up on supplies, I had a sudden flash of inspiration! I believe two of my favorite materials would be great for pipe repair/customizing.

Say you have chewed through the acrylic stem of your trusty driving pipe, or need to fix a broken tennon, instamorph might work! www.instamorph.com

And for making a custom "softy bit" you could try some Sugru www.sugru.com

And there's probably a million other uses for this stuff in the pipe world too.
Do you guys think these would be helpful to the pipe smoking community?

Your links link back to the forums. But I looked at the products. Interesting stuff. What have you used them for?

Interesting - Sugru's not certified as food safe yet, but they're working on it. I've heard good things about the stuff, but haven't played with it yet.

I usually use heat-shrink tubing myself.

After some testing I realized he sugru isn't good for softie stems, I managed to chew it off pretty quickly. The instamorph however makes a pretty good stem parching material. I'm thinking about making a pipe stand out of it too.
