While visiting Boswell Pipes today, I picked up this very nice little bent nose warmer. Predominantly smooth with incredible grain; the heel of the bowl is rusticated in a black finish.

First bowl of Countryside has been smoked while at the Boswell shop in their upstairs lounge. Pretty good smoker right off the shelf.

Nice pipe. I really like Boswell pipes and have four of them. They have a certain rugged aesthetic that some like and others don't. Each of my Boswell pipes smoke excellently and they get a lot of use. I hope you have many wonderful smokes from your new pipe.

Very nice indeed!! Did you pick up any tobacco to go with it?
Thank you; I picked up a couple of ounces to test, but I was advised that if I bought online, it would save me money since I wouldn't pay the PA Tobacco tax. A 4 oz order would cover the shipping vs. tax overlap. So I plan on ordering some tins online.

Grew up in the 60's with an Army Sgm. Roadside attractions were staple in my childhood. So even at 63, I love to plan things that are reminiscent of those experiences. A couple of years we went to Camden Park in Huntington, WV (been open since 1903); the attractions were run down, some were closed, but I wouldn't trade the day for the memories it evoked.

Nice pipe! I’m ready to finally get my hands on one. Set up acct and all ready for the Monday night drop always has sold when I click submit. Kinda becoming aggravating.
