This is my first Blakemar. Arrived yesterday, and Ive already put two bowls of McCranie's Red Ribbon through. Smokes like a champ. For the money, the quality is way better than I expected. Gonna order a couple more.

@sutalle
Thanks for the heads up. I do need to mention that when I was communicating with Mike at Blakemar.....I was very blunt and to the point when I ordered from him.....DO NOT even think about sending me a pipe that requires a pipe cleaner to be fiddle with to make is pass, and the chamber needs to be in-round. I told him I'm not expecting Dunhill, but I'm not going to pay for a basket pipe either.

Very nice pipe! I bought a Blakemar Champion off Blakemar Briars around 6 months ago, superb quality and can't fault the price.
Found this site while looking for other people's thoughts on his work, I must say overall it seems that the pipes are a great pleasure to own.
They also seem to have updated their website - www.blakemar.co.uk

A lot easier to look through, already spent a good few hours checking all the ranges of tobaccos and pipes :puffy:
