These are some really beautiful pipes for the price imo. To my untrained eye they look like more expensive artisan pipes but in the $120-$150 range.

Thoughts?

Love neerup, just bought my first one, also my first churchwarden. Smokes beautifully and i love the chamber size and colored stem. I picked it up on fleabay for 80 bucks, definitely great for the money4991

I've been eyeing these pipes for a while and I'd go for one if sp carried the filtered versions. I like how Neerup handles thicc shapes like the apple or squashed tomato.

@bluegrassbrian already said it: "Humongous chambers, bulbous shapes, and thick acrylic stems" and yet I must say I've come to the exact opposite conclusion: totally for me!

Not for me.
I... oh others have already responded... I'll just add that I have not found this to be true for my 4 Neerups. The chambers are in the .75" - .8" range of diameter. They are a little bulbous in comparison to their moderate shanks, but the stems on mine are all great; not artisan thin, but better than most other factory-mades.

I love his use of mottled stains and blast.

I think I get more excited by seeing new Neerup pipes at The Briary than any other pipe maker. They are playful, and not too stiff necked square... nor are they too fat-legged and dumpy looking.

And, Peder Jeppesen has done a great job of giving pipesmokers an excellent smoking tool that is playful and affordable . puffy

Neerup owners in general really like these pipes. 'Can't argue with that. Visually, I find them front-heavy, but you can't argue with owner satisfaction.

My only Neerup (and my only acorn). I agree they are great looking pipes for the price, birdseye like that on a $100 pipe is nothing to sneeze at. Huge chambers is correct (1.87 by .91 in this case). Great when that's what you're looking for. I did load it up with Marlin Flake when I first smoked it though, and I think I missed an entire football game.
