Capt. Black Royal. Smooth as baby's bottom. Baby's bottom.. That sounds like some Dunhill blend. Never had it. I don't think Peterson picked that up.

I was just given a sample of Officer's Club from East India Trading Company and it's great stuff.

Like others have said already, my favorite aros are the ones that have a solid base of good tobacco with a touch of sweetness added. Those are way better than blends where the sugary sweetness is the star of the show, as with Molto Dolce, for example.

Officer's Club has this espresso-caramel-nougat-hazelnut-chocolate thing going on. It rotates through those tastes seamlessly over a body of thick and warm Virginias and Burleys, not the overwhelming cloudy Cavendish typical of American aros. It makes me think of Starbucks coffee, for what that's worth.
