Need Help Identifying this Pipe, Please

Hi All,
A buddy of mine just received this pipe as an inheritance from his Grandpa. There are no markings or stampings on the pipe that he can see. Only distinguishing mark is the yellow circle on the stem. He is going to display it in a curio along with another pipe from his Grandpa, but wanted to see if he could get any info on it.
I figured this was the best place to get that info, as there are some very knowledgeable people in this community.
Any help is appreciated.

Perhaps an old Yello-Bole, or at least its stem.

Perhaps being the key word.
