Need help Identifying a Pipe

Can someone confirm if this is a Dunhill?

Whatever is left of the shield looks way too rudimentary to be a Dunhill 'stamp' and from shape that doesn't really look like a Dunhill (could be lens distortions though).

Without any maker's marking visible (would likely be on the bottom of the shank in this case if it was present) it is not possible to positively identify the maker of this pipe. The marking on the "silver" band is from a well known maker of repair bands.

The markings on the metal cap identify it as a European aftermarket fitment. No connection to Dunhill whatsoever. What is stamped into the underside of the shank? Nice looking stummel, BTW.

Nice looking stummel. But as to identity no clue. Nothing about it says Dunhill.

There are a couple of companies that made fitments for pipes and this is one of them.
Ken Barnes told me it was a European maker.

What makes you ask that its a Dunhill's pipe?
Just curious, since there was no detail of it in your post is all.
I can't identify anything that would suggest that it is. But, hey! If you're happy with it, then that's all that matters, right?
And it is a nice looking pipe.
