So I hopped on 4noggins the other day in hopes of finding the Dan tobacco tins that I have been on the hunt for: Bill Baileys Balkan Blend, Mellow Mallard, Patriot Flake, and Treasures of Ireland-Limerick. 4noggins had every one of them in stock....except for one. Once again, the Limerick continues to elude me.
Anywho, those were the last blends on my list, but getting back into Virginias and Vapers, I have been told that Hal O' The Wynd is a must try, so I snagged a 100 gram tin of that along with a 100 gram tin of MacBaren HH Vintage Syrian. Im thinking of getting another tin of HOTW to age and compare the two.

Yeh, I had bought some Hal O Wynd and HH Vintage Sryian recently. Unfortunately they are in such high demand that the tins you get are pretty young. Gotta age them for at least two years before enjoyment :-(

Ive never been much for aging latakia heavy blends because that smokiness mellows out after a while, and when I reach for a good latakia blend I want my smokiness. If its something like a light English with a lot of Virginia, I just let mood or cravings dictate when it gets opened, but I have a tin of GL Pease Chelsea Morning that is going on almost 3 years old.
