I've been a basketball player and fan since childhood. I was on my first championship team as a 'biddy leaguer' in my final yr. of play at that level. I was 12. I was on another championship team in the Indian River County Men's league 37 yrs later in 1997.
I've never played other than town league ball. No HS, no College ball. I still love it.
This year, we're down to just a few teams. As of today, Sunday the 19th, May 2024, there are still 6 teams in the run for the NBA Season Championship.
Dallas
Boston
Denver
OKC
NY
Indiana.
The Celts and the Mavs are already in their respective division finals. Today, starting in minutes is the first of two game 7's to be played today. NY vs Indiana. The second game starts at 8:00p.m. Denver vs OKC.
I'm impressed with the run NY has made as Jalen Brunson defies logic with his play. I'd like to see NY vs Boston in the East.
I'm a longtime Celtics fan who has strayed over many years to embrace whichever team is playing the best team basketball, and for my money it's the Denver Nuggets.
The game is most interesting when the ball moves from player to player with intention. I deplore the one on one, ball dominant style of play that seems to result in all end game situations in general.
Do you have any interest in the NBA?

Basketball was never a sport I played, or really followed much, except for college basketball, once upon a time. The NBA? No sir, I don't.

Hoping the Pacers hang on today. Not getting any favors from the refs. Been lots of very entertaining games but a numbers of blowouts as well. I think it's simple. With Porzingas, the Celtics have a chance against Denver. Without him, Denver wins in 6.

I really don't like basketball much but noticed a while ago the Pacers led the knicks with 2:30 left in the 3rd quarter by about 18.
