Mystery Pipe (Morgan and Co.) ID help

Bought this on ebay because I love the shape and the grain looked nice. Trying to find out who may have made this pipe. Only Markings are “Morgan and Co. / 1. New Bond St.”

It has a unique slot that I’m hoping may help. There is a possible initial before “Morgan” as well. Any help is much appreciated if anyone recognizes the shape and/or slot. Thanks!

I thought I had it for a second there. There was a Morgan & Co. on Bond Street & given their line of work a spin off pipe didn't seem inconceivable. But old ain't new. Sorry!

Whoever made this pipe, it wasn't Morgan & Co as the address listed is in a high end luxury shopping district and this address is currently the Flagship for Ralph Lauren. There was a Morgan & Co located at 10 Old Bond Street, which isn't far away, who were a supplier of carriages and later very snazzy automobiles. If there is an initial or two ahead of the Morgan & Co, there's JS Morgan and Co, which was a bank and the progenitor of JP Morgan.

The pipe started out as an orific bit, which was later converted to a slot, and the button reshaped. I've seen a few like this.
So not a maker, but likely a supplier of gentlemen's requisites much like Astley's

Abdullah Pipes were located in New Bond Street, but the available shots don't match.

Orlik also appear to have had a showroom in Old (again) Bond Street.

Whoever made this pipe, it wasn't Morgan & Co

This was my instinct as well, that the pipe was made for Morgan & Co. by………someone. Whoever it was knew grain.

One last bump in hopes that someone recognizes the shape or button design. To me the lines and proportions really seem like an Upshall pipe but I can’t find any similar shape in any english brand so far.
