According to their own marketing, PackFreshUSA is "The most trusted preservation and packaging brand"

Not my experience...

Here's what I bought, with the intention to store 1lb factory sealed bags of Sutliff bulk tobacco. The Sutliff bags are great. They are Mylar or similar, but they aren't super thick, and they aren't aluminized, but still far better than what CI and SPC package their bulks in. My plan was to heat seal these unopened bags in another bag, a 7 mil laminate, with an O2 absorber. Well, the PackFreshUSA bags arrived quickly, and seemed to be high quality, until I turned off the lights ( my office used to be my darkroom) and looked inside the bags towards a small, bright light. Immediately, I could see light shining in where a seam should be. Almost all of the bags leaked at the bottom, gusseted seam.

I sent them back to Amazon, and ordered these bags from Discount Mylar. I'll report back when they arrive, I've been pleased with the quality of their products in the past, but at the time that I ordered, they didn't have the exact size I was hoping for, which is why I initially went for the PackFresh. These Discount Mylar bags are bigger than the PackFresh, which, after I thought about it, is probably better anyways. Why try and cram stuff into a too-small bag?

FWIW, Sorbent Systems has the best track record overall, but the minimum orders are high.
