My triumphant return!

Hello fellas (and the few ladies as well) I'm back! After my absence visiting my father to be there to do the duty of a son before and after his surgery and to go to Yellowknife, N.W.T. for Folk on the Rocks and to see friends I have returned to these wonderful forums. It was a great trip and very rejuvenating for my soul and it's good to be back. Oh! I also brought some pictures! Haha at least one embarrassing but it was a big long party when I got to YK! I would put them all in the thread but 63 photos would crowd it something fierce. I will take questions on any of them though. To say it was a great time would be an understatement! Laying on the sand on the shores of a lake with a fine lady and taking in some fine music with a pipe in jaw could likely be as good as things can get. Well add a nice cold stout and then things are as good as they can get.
Shoot I almost forgot that there are some videos from the festivities! I'd recommend watching Fred Penner play "The Cat Came Back" (the guy is a gas), Owen Pallet, Maria in the Shower, and really all of it is worth watching.

Haha the man was a blast! When he busted out that whole "Cat in the Bucket" bit my mind was blown. And as a volunteer I got to go to the after-party and seeing him and Ken Whitely play some classic blues turned my childhood on its ear and made my damn year.
