Of course I don't really have any bad smokers since they don't stay if they don't smoke well, these are excellent smokers no matter my choice of tobak.

I have about 23 pipes that I consider my top tier pipes and they all smoke fantastic but for the sake of this thread I will pick out three of them.
Rad Davis Billiard.

Banjo, you have some beautiful pipes. For me choosing three is a bit of a challange, because I tend to love all my pipes. I have a few GBD's that are great values with a lot of bang for the buck, but these three are favorites in my rotation.
Bonaquisti, smokes cool regardless of technique.

Ser Jacopo, Large pipe over 90 grams and a two hour smoke when full.

Bertram DC, It was this one or my Radice and I like the small size and easy draw on this Bertram

Well my collection is small right now. Let's call it in progress. These are the only three that I have that are not in some way, shape, or form, being restored. Once I finish the Root Briar and Savinellie De Luxe restoration I imagine there will be a bit of a shuffle. But these three win for now.
FYI - I am still learning shapes, so please correct me if I've mis-stated below.
Top to bottom:
GBD Unique Handmade (France) - Partially rusticated bent apple. Estate buy.

Royal Danish (Denmark) - Sandblast 1/4 bent. Estate buy.

GBD New Standard Unique (London) - Smooth pick-axe. Estate buy.

Thanks Uber. Lucky find. When it came in it was filthy and I had to do a complete restoration, including sanding, buffing and waxing. But it came out nice in the end. Inside the bowl tho, the previous owner put a wad of pipemud, which I think is hiding a knifed ream job. Every peacock has a few bad feathers. Cheers.

Another good topic. Not an easy decision, I like all of my pipes, but all three below are my excellent smokers (yes, even my Pete) and the ones I reach for most often:

pruss,

A GBD was one of my first great smokers, it is still in rotation and I often use it to test tobak, yours are lovely.
bigvan,

Nice trifecta there for sure, stunners.
kashmir,

I could stare at that birdseye forever!
numbersix,

That Pete is to die for, lovely combination of form and beauty.
Keep 'em coming, this should be called the eye candy thread. :)

Thanks fishnbanjo. I quite like those pipes. The GBD apple is a deceptively big bowl. I love it for a long and deep smoke. That little Royal Danish, though, is the best smoker of the bunch. A beautiful draw, great with flake or with cut tobacco.
I am staggered by the beauty of that Comoy Grand Slam. To my eye, some of the nicest wood I've seen in a pipe. What a wonderful pipe.

Great looking pipes guys keep em coming.
Kashmir, every time I see that Comoy I drool, that is some of the best looking birds eye I have ever seen on a pipe. It looks like a Saturn grade( I believe it is his top of the line) Eltang with that dark stain. Where is it that you live again? lol
