As a Tolkien geek I couldn't stop looking at all of the LOTR tobaccos by GLP. I never realized those were ever made.

I'm probably the biggest Tolkein geek in the world (books, not movies), and I didn't know Pease had a Tolkein line. Me wants. Wants wants wants.
PS Pretty sure Smaug didn't smoke - arms too short.

Pease makes the Tolkien line for the NASPC Pipe Show. All the blends you saw above were made for exactly one show and in very limited quantites. I think some years only 100 of a given blend were made.
There at least three Pease blends missing from the one show above: Southern Star (1st), South Farthing (2nd), and Balrog's Blend (15th or later). I think there is another but I can't think of it.
The Longbottom Leaf was made by Cornell & Diehl. There was a McClelland entry into the NASPC set called Old Toby. Both of these blends preceded the Pease blends.
JFM also made three blends for this series called Treebeard, Shortcut to Muchsrooms, and The Ruins of Isengard but I have nerver seen them in tins. I believe these also preceded the Pease blends.
