My pipe collection

My modest collection after a couple years since starting to smoke a pipe. From left to right- savinelli 315, Dr Garbow prince that was heavily smoked a got off ebay and tried my hand at restoring, Rossi 8673, basket pipe i picked up at the Briary in Birmingham,savinelli 401, peterson 999 and system pipe 313 drying with the stem out. I also have a couple cobs that are just as great smokers as any of these briars that are not pictured.
All of these are Estates except the one i picked up at the Briary. I I"m not buying anymore pipes unless I burn one of these out. Going to start deeping my cellar with my smoke money.

Nice and practical, depending on how much one smokes. I have way more pipes than i need, but every time i try to pare down the stash and sell a bunch off i wind up buying a few more with the newly acquired "pipe money." Not a problem as, for me, it's always fun to acquire something new. To each their own. Enjoy!

This is probably the smart way to do it. I do the opposite. Spend all my money on pipes and then smoke what I have. I really should start cellaring more.

Quite intelligent approach. I've got around 70 higher end Briars. 90% of my smoking is done with 3 Meers. Prioritizing tobacco purchases is the correct move.

Smart move. After decades of smoking and hundreds of artisan pipes I now only have two Falcons with meerschaum bowls, an alligator Savinelli 904, and a Fatih meerschaum tulip.
