My New Luciano #222 Group 1 Lovat

I just received my new Luciano from SmokingPipes today and what a beauty! She is an excellent example of a group 1 grouping coming in just under 4.5" long.
One really cool aspect of this purchase was the personalized detail card containing a sketch and all necessary specifications of the pipe, for example the age and characteristics of the briar, stem material, year and month of manufacture and type of finish.

I thought this was an amazingly cool touch for a mid-range pipe!

I'm impressed that Luciano puts the date of the pipe's manufacture on the stamp. Just really nice touches. I have a blast straight billiard and an author, both sturdy and fine smokers.

I think Luciano makes a steal of a pipe for the price. The chubby billiard I have is one of my favorite pipes.
